Without a doubt, I am a fan of self-improvement / personal development books and this book right here is one of the best that I have read 🥰. OMG! Where has this book been all my life?? (It was only published in 2018, so I guess in the author’s head🧠). Atomic Habits is just one of those books that everyone should read at least one time in their lifetime, the sooner the better. This book offers a very practical and insightful guide to developing good habits and getting rid of bad habits with many many examples about how you can go about doing this. Do your future self a favor and get a copy 🙂 My rating for this book is 5 out of 5, obviously ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Atomic Habits was written by Mr. James Clear and what I enjoyed most about it was that it provided a novel guide to building good habits and breaking bad habits. It is an extremely practical book and gives clear instructions about how you can make small changes everyday to help develop habits that you want to keep and that will help you become the type of person you want to be🙏. The book is broken down into four main sections which highlight Mr. Clear’s four simple laws to form good habits. He goes into an in depth discussion in each section on the four laws stated below:
- The first law – Make it Obvious
- The second law – Make It Attractive
- The third law – Make It Easy
- The fourth law – Make It Satisfying

True behaviour change is identity change. You might start a habit because of motivation, but the only reason you’ll stick with one is that it becomes part of your identity.
