The Tiger King – What a Documentry!

Wow…….. I am truly stunned by Tiger King!🐱 πŸ† What a weird show!!!!! The Netflix Documentary –Β  The Tiger King – Murder, Mayhem and Madness is one of the craziest yet truly gripping TV shows I have seen in a long time. In this time of stay at home orders and quarantines, this docuseries is the perfect show to binge watch on TV. I mean there was everything from cute baby tigers, large lions and tigers, guns, a throuple, a cult, a missing husband, criminals, drug addicts, snakes 🐍 (both literally and figuratively), a big cat activist who herself has cats in cage, a gay guy who turned out to be straight and of course a murder for hire. What didn’t it have in this show? 😯 πŸ˜ͺ 😫

This show is about the self proclaimed, eccentric, big cat lover, Tiger King – Joe Exotic (born Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage). He is one of the most well known big cat zoo owners in the United States along with Bhagavan ‘Doc’ Antle and the activist and big cat owner herself Carole BasinΒ πŸ€” 🀨 The show tends to focus on the issues between Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic however, it really is like a can of worms, it just gets more and more insane as the episodes continue. It is mind blowing … “are these people even real?? ” was the question I kept asking myselfπŸ™„ πŸ™„

The Infamous Carole Baskin…Is that a lion in a cage behind her???? #confused

At times, you really like the Tiger King, you see his vulnerability, naivety, kindness, willingness to help persons no matter theirΒ  circumstances, his love for his animals but at other times you really dislike him as you see him take advantage of people, be violent, abusive and controlling. It is a show that you come to love and hate at the same time πŸ₯° 😑

doc antle
Bhagavan Doc Antle… this guy leaves me speechless. I don’t even know what to say about him…..

The show is a mixture of love, happiness, death, tragedy, wealth, poverty….. a whole lot of hypocrisy, drug addiction, animal rights … it gives you insight into subset of society (Big Cat Zoo Owners) that I did not even know existed. Who knew that the Big Cat Zoo Owners had so much BACCHANNAL (Trini word for Drama)!!! I just happened upon this TV show after seeing Cardi B post about Joe on Instagram and I decided to check out the show. Since then, I have been gripped and watched out the episodes in a few days πŸ–₯ 😎

jeff lowe
Jeff Lowe…. I think he should be arrested ….

You will surely enjoy this show, as my mother used to say while she watched her Unsolved Murders on TV or Dateline NBC True Crime Dramas, somethings cannot be made up or scripted, some things cannot be imagined, the kinds of mischief human beings can get up to can truly amaze you.” I really just couldn’t figure out how did they stumbled upon this group of characters? For each and every person there is a story….and an interesting and intriguing one at that πŸ™‚ If you haven’t checked this show out as yet, I think that you should and let me know what you think in the comments below. Below is an interesting fact about Big Cats that was highlighted in the show:

“According to the show there are between 5000 – 10,000 big cats kept in captivity in the US alone and only about 3,200 in the wild”

Minor Spoiler below:

I think Carole Baskin killed her second husband,….and I also think that Joe and Jeff Lowe hired Allen Glover to kill Carole Baskin (Jeff for sure should be indited and also Allen Glover, the hired trigger man). What do you think? πŸ€” 🀨

Much Love
