Paria Bay and Waterfall in all its glory :)

I have been to Paria many many times before, but honestly that trip with the Hikers United Crew on March 9th was something extra special. At times, I find myself just going through the pictures and videos from that day and just reminiscing and smiling thinking about how much fun we had.  The weather was perfect and Paria waterfall and beach were absolutely stunning, a slice of heaven. Below are some of my favorite pictures from that day, I hope you enjoy it ❤ . Also feel free to check out my last blog post about Why a hike to Paria is a must!

Yes,  this is one of the most difficult hikes in Trinidad, the infamous Paria trail takes anywhere from 1.5 – 2.5 hrs one way depending on your fitness level. It consists of a series of uphills and downhill treks but in the end it is worth it and after all of that walking, you must go into the water and enjoy yourself 🙂

To be honest, it is not that I ever had a bad experience on Paria, but doing a hike on a really beautiful day, with wonderful weather, does add to the experience. I can’t wait to visit here again sometime soon 😎 Have you ever been to Paria? You should really add it to your list of places to visit in Trinidad and if the hike is too difficult, you can hire a boat to take you across from the Blanchisseuse Fishing Depot for about $400 – $600 TT.

PS. A little about me, I have been hiking for about 5 years and I am currently a hikeleader with HikersUnited (IG and FB).

Much Love

Celly
